Philippine Airlines - Damaged luggage & contents not paid for

This is very embarrassing. I thought clicked on Philippine Airlines, but somehow this complaint was lodged against Jet Blue. I\'m not sure how that happened, but my sincerest apologies to Jet Blue and a brickbat to Philippine Airlines.

I took a flight from Cebu to Manila to Los Angeles.When I got to LA I found my luggage had been damaged as well as some of the contents.
I didn't have time to make a claim in LA because of a close connecting flight to Boston. I explained this to PAL when I got back, but my claim was denied. I wrote a letter to the person who refused my claim re-explaining the situation and expressing resentment at having my integrity called into question.
I told him I could have told Jet Blue they did the damage or claimed it had happened on the return flight had I wished to be dishonest.No reply.
